Happy is as happy does. Fake it til ya make it.

It was a mildly relaxing weekend followed by a busy Sunday, and leading into a more stressful today, which is only the precursor to a crazy-busy-holy-cow week.

I need help. I need motivation to not dig into the ice cream bucket (even though it’s the healthier yogurt kind!) or the chocolate bag (even though they’re dark chocolates and some are even sugar-free!). See, there I go with the justifications. And see, I may be a personal trainer and group exercise instructor, but I have cravings and hard, stressful weeks.

My Get-It-All-Out Workout
*I’m rocking tabatas  of each of the individual exercises below (4 minutes total, 20 seconds on as hardcore as you can, 10 seconds rest, 8 rounds). That’s 12 minutes total, minimum equipment required.

  • High-knees jump rope and burpees (1 round of jump rope, 1 of burpees)
  • Alternating punches in wide-legged squat with 3lb. weights and wide-leg squats with overhead press with a heavy weight
  • Pushups and alternating leg lifts in plank (it’s way too much to do 4 minutes of pushups!)

What gets you through ugh weeks?
