Don’t Have Time to Work Out? Yes You Do. Do This Workout. Now.

I believe very few people who say that they don’t have time to work out. Do you watch TV, read the paper, or dilly-dally around the house for a total of 15 minutes during the day? Then you have time for a workout. What can you do in 15 minutes? The workout below. It’s rough, it’s tough, but it requires no equipment and you can do it… and it’s going to burn… your muscles and calories.

5-4-3-2-1 Countdown Workout

  • 5 minutes of cardio – jumping jacks, jump rope, alternating punches and kicks, jump squats, jumping lunges, and mountain climbers 
  • 4 minutes of squats – vary the speed, width of your feet, squatting with a knee up, squatting with a side leg raise, squatting with a back leg raise, bottom halves (staying low and bouncing up)
  • 3 minutes of lunges – vary the speed, bottom halves, front and back lunges, and static lunges
  • 2 minutes of ab work – bicicles, planks, alternating crunches, regular crunches, Russian twists, and inch worms
  • 1 minute of pushups – nothing fancy, just do ’em


There: 15 minutes, no equipment necessary, straight-forward moves. One killer workout.
