Best beauty foods:

Food Facts:

  1. When it comes to feeling blue, new research shows you are what you eat. People who eat trans fats, found in processed foods and pastries, had up to a 48% greater chance of suffering from depression over a six-year period, while those with a diet rich in olive oil, avocados, and other sources of unsaturated fats were less likely to feel gloomy.
  2.  Beets may delay fatigue during workouts.


Good, quick lunch
eats: Chickpeas sautéed with onion, canned chopped tomatoes, frozen spinach, cumin, curry and coriander.


Breakfast/brunch waffle recipe (Note: This does have a man’s approval!):
Combine boxed pancake/waffle mix in a bowl with ÂĽ cup or more of dried oatmeal, 1 egg, a few splashes of skim milk, a splash of water, and an assortment of dried fruit (my mixture has cherries, cranberries, dates, and raisin). Mix until thin enough to pour out, but not too runny. Throw on a waffle iron and serve. I like to eat them with sugar-free syrup or natural peanut butter and some fresh berries! Delicious and simple.
